My work consists mostly of paintings and drawings. I have a tendency to use bright colours in my paintings, dealing with figurative elements in a way that emphasizes shapes and contours. I enjoy experimenting with new ideas, so my subject matter extends from the strange to the mundane. While most of my works stand alone, I have recently begun creating works in a serial fashion. I have finished one main series of drawings in graphite, Ornitholgical Playthings, and am currently working on a painting series entitled Groceries. An artist never stops evolving, and I am no exception. I am continuously playing with new concepts and techniques in the process of refining my practice.
